YouTube requires video with profanity to be flagged as 18+. What the hell?
Oh, and a bill has been introduced to force websites with sexual content to have an extension of .xxx. Do you know how much hassle this is? Change your ad campaigns. All the innocent websites with this content will be singled out for abuse. This is like requiring a fee for free speech. The main population is just so damned uninformed. Mind you, the provision isn't to "protect children". It's to give the sites a hell of a time. Can't move? Face fines. Lost customers looking for your new address? Sorry. Oh yeah, it will make filters that much more effective. What's next? Requring monitoring software for any child under 18? We have free speech too. Fuckers. I want my Internet. Not half my internet. I can decide for myself what I find objectionable. There's that red X, you know. Or Alt+F4. The Information Age should not censor, dammit.
