They don't WANT to change. Let's FORCE them.

Drop Windoze as soon as possible. It has some good things in it . But that is NOT the point! We should aim to annihilate the home-computer-market monopoly. Only then will MS improve. Red Hat makes millions with the OSS model. Hardware companies are reluctantly agreeing to shore up support for Linux.

Encode your media in OGG. (MP3 = proprietary).
BUY software from companies embracing OSS.
Try to learn programming if you can.
