Cool Tech
I discovered awesome software yesterday. Here's the rundown:
KeyScrambler - http://www.qfxsoftware.com - Intercepts & encrypts keystrokes before any other application can access them, then decrypts & outputs them in the correct application. KS Personal is free. As a warning, I do not know what type of encryption they use. Slows down input slightly. (This is usually undetectable unless yo have a lot of plugins loaded on Firefox.) PE only encrypts logins.
MusicIP - http://www.musicip.com - This spellbinding app takes any tedium and confusion out of picking from your GBs of songs. Simply let it analyze your collection, then pick a "seed" song and it will generate a playlist of similar songs. You can even set how different they should be, etc. You could let it create one for you if you're feeling random!
ArtWonk - http://www.geneticmusic.com - Nice music synthing app. Huge number of sounds and effects.
Audacity - http://audacity.sourceforge.net - Music Editing / Recording app.
More will be added as I feel like it.

Thanks for your good words about KeyScrambler in february 2007. I just want to update you about KeyScrambler Personal. It now protects everything (not just login info) you type into Firefox, Internet Explorer or Flock against keyloggers and all websites, including online banking, online shopping, web email, forums, and more. And it's still free!
